The Shell isn't just sewn; it's engineered. Most streetwear "cargo pants" use simple overlock seams that fail under the tension of a climbing harness or the wind-blast of a 120mph freefall. F/M uses flat-felled seams. By folding the fabric into itself before double-stitching, we create a seam that is essentially four layers of nylon thick. This construction is "low profile"—it lies flat against the leg to prevent chafing—but it is nearly indestructible. We’ve reinforced every belt loop and pocket corner with high-density bartacks, ensuring your gear stays attached even when you're hanging by a harness or moving through thick brush.

The Science of the 94/6 Blend

Why 94% Nylon and 6% Spandex? Nylon is the backbone of the extreme sports world. It is the material used for parachutes and climbing ropes because of its incredible tensile strength and resistance to friction-generated heat. By using a 250GSM weight, we provide a "Goldilocks" fabric: light enough for summer climbs but substantial enough to block the wind during a base jump or a winter ride. The 6% Spandex content is the "secret sauce" for maneuverability. It allows the pant to stretch with your body's natural mechanics, then snap back to its original "low profile" shape without bagging out at the knees or seat.
